General information

BIC Ljubljana je javni zavod, izobraževalna ustanova z več kot 160 letno tradicijo. Center združuje štiri šole: Gimnazijo in veterinarsko šolo, Živilsko šolo, Višjo strokovno šolo in Medpodjetniški izobraževalni center. V okviru naših izobraževalnih programov omogočamo dijakom, študentom in odraslim udeležencem pridobiti poleg splošnega tudi strokovno znanje in kompetence s področij: živilstva in prehrane, veterine, naravovarstva, biotehnologije ter gostinstva in turizma. Odzivamo se na potrebe iz okolja, zato poleg javno veljavnih programov izvajamo tudi druge vrste strokovnega usposabljanja in tečaje.

BIC Ljubljana is a public education institution with more than a 160-year-old tradition. The centre includes four schools: Grammar school and Veterinary Technician School, Vocational College and Intercompany Training Centre. In central Slovenia, BIC Ljubljana is the leading vocational institution in the areas of veterinary nursing, food processing, nutrition, baking and pastry confectionery. Technical courses such as microbiology, biotechnology and laboratory practical, all of which are being taught as part of grammar school, give the students the best knowledge and skills for further studies at natural science faculties.
